Animal Protection Educational program for schools

Educating our children is, undoubtedly, the best tool to change the future of a society. It is essential to have knowledge to be able to take a decision about any matter. If we are not conscious of a problem, we will not be able to change it.

For thousands of years animals have served us with company, food and labor. We have used them for our needs. The consequences for many species have been fatal, many have been extinguished forever, and many of them live like our slaves or are abandoned in conditions you would not wish for any living creature.

With our educational program we want to create a new generation of human beings, who are conscious of and feel responsible for all creatures. It is important to convey the message that to respect animals means to be a good person who respects life.

We return home after an enriching trip

A week after the beginning of our journey,  which took us from Marrakech to the heart of the Sahara, across the Atlas Mountains,  we  are back home with the feeling of having lived one of the most beautiful and deep experiences we  have ever had.The incredible beauty of the surroundings, the endless dunes, their colorful villages and its friendly people make Morocco a place where magic and fantasy are present all the time.

However, Morocco is also full of contrasts as well.  And that contrast is most marked in the relationship between animals and humans.

Although this relationship exists largely due to the work the animals carry out, this should be no reason for them not receiving all the necessary attendance for a decent existence.

In fact, as they are of prime importance for carrying out tasks humans need to do for their basic subsistence, they deserve to be treated not just as a mere “work tool”.

All things considered, the journey we have made shows once again the hard work that lies ahead to improve the existing relationship between animals and humans.
