Hier sind sie endlich, die Video Aufnahmen von unserem Camino 2011!

Diese Aufnahmen sind weit davon entfernt professionell zu sein, fast jeder Teilnehmer hatte irgendwann einmal die Kamera in der Hand. An den verwackelten Szenen sieht man den Schwierigkeitsgrad des Weges auf dem sie gefilmt wurden. Aber sie haben etwa, was sie für uns wertvoller macht als der schönste Film über den Camino, sie lassen die unzähligen Momente unseres Caminos wieder aufleben, erinnern uns nocheinmal an die gemeinsam mit unseren Freunden, den Tieren, verbrachte Zeit, an die Schönheit der Dehesa Extremaduras im Frühling,die saftigen Wiesen, die für Esel und Pferde das reinste Festbankett darstellten, die Berge und Täler, die Menschen, die zu Freunden wurden, ihre Solidarität und Unterstützung...diesen schönen langen Weg, den wir für einen ganz besonderen Zweck gewandert sind.

After six long, but beautiful weeks, 1000 miles of road and many stories to tell, we arrived at Santiago de Compostela. Tired, but happy and above all very grateful. Grateful to have all arrived safely, humans and animals unharmed.

We are also thankful for the warm and friendly welcome we received from animal associations and everyone along the way, specially the Franciscan Friars who opened the doors of their church wide and welcomed us in, animals and humans.

There, where our journey ended, the” Camino” begins for all those who have understood our message and began to think about what we were trying to convey, that the planet belongs to all of us and we have to share it.

WE WILL WALK FOR A HARMONIC COEXISTENCE BETWEEN HUMAN, ANIMAL AND NATURE ON THE PLANET

The project El Camino provoked a lot of interest in the first edition in 2009, at both national and international level, becoming a flag for consciousness and encouragement of animal life. The Camino will join together again with many pilgrims, animals and humans, in a magic journey to Santiago de Compostela.

Come with us for one or more weeks on our pilgrimage to Santiago. A great oportunity for a responsible holiday, walk the Saint James Trail, get to know a undiscouvered part of Spain and make an important contribution towards the change.

Animal Protection Educational program for schools

Educating our children is, undoubtedly, the best tool to change the future of a society. It is essential to have knowledge to be able to take a decision about any matter. If we are not conscious of a problem, we will not be able to change it.

For thousands of years animals have served us with company, food and labor. We have used them for our needs. The consequences for many species have been fatal, many have been extinguished forever, and many of them live like our slaves or are abandoned in conditions you would not wish for any living creature.

With our educational program we want to create a new generation of human beings, who are conscious of and feel responsible for all creatures. It is important to convey the message that to respect animals means to be a good person who respects life.
