Here we present to you the real protagonists of "El Camino 2011": 

Moreno is a famous star amongst the "El Camino pilgrims", he has accompanied us already in 2009, and is one of the most experienced Camino donkeys of Spain. Together with his human Narciso, who is going to be our guide, and Grillo, to the dog, he has already undertaken several pilgrim's journeys. His friendly character, quiet, gentle mind and his untiring perseverance, make him the popular companion for humans.

Moreno is 12 years old and multiple father of a family.

Linda is our sunny child, with her 5 years she is not only the youngest of the donkey family, she is also the most playful one. Moreno could not deny her as a daughter, she looks just like him! With her talent to draw "stroke-willing" people, she will certainly never have a lack of stokes on the Camino.

FEODOR is 19 years old and a pure bread Achal-Tekhiner (Russian full blood horse). His appearance seems not to be pure, but his typical resistance and great condition as well has his stubborn character, proofs his bread. He is very gentle with people and other animals, but riding him he is dynamite, not a horse for a beginner.

FELIX is 18 years old, about a meter tall and an extremely lovely and gentle pony. Kids can handle him and ride him, even though he shows when he does not like something, he does it in a very gentle way. Like all ponies, he loves to eat, he is strong and resistant, but sometimes has a problem caching air due to his pollen allergy.

ANAIS y PABLO

Pablo and Anais are the dogs from the animal shelter in Marbella (TripleA) who are going to walk as the representatives of all abandoned animals. Both came to the shelter when they where only a few month old, and both where “the leftovers” from their respective litter. Pablo is allready waiting since two years for a new home, Anais since one year.

They are perfect dogs for the Camino, sociable, obedient, they love to walk in group without taking of on their own and they don’t run after other animals.

It is our greatest wish that they don’t have to go back to the shelter and we hope that they find the loving home, that they deserve. They are our heroes!

ALFI

Alfi es un autentico héroe del Camino!! Lo hará por segunda vez ya!! Llegó a la perrera de ADANA cuando era un cachorro y vino al Camino 2009, siendo todavía perro de la protectora, cuando allí conoció a Andrea quien le adoptó. Es un chico muy carismático y se los gana a todos, funcionó perfectamente con Andrea!!  Ahora ya es ciudadano austríaco y viene desde Austria para hacer el Camino de nuevo. Chapó Alfi!!!

JOSCHY

Joschy es un perrito muy simpático y juguetón que vino de una protectora, pero afortunadamente ya ha encontrado una Mamá humana que le quiere muuucho. No parece haber sufrido ningún trauma nunca. Esta muy en forma y es un chico muy despabilado y nos hará reía mucho a todos.

MORGANA

Morgana romperá todos los corazones caninas, es una belleza y está conciente de ello! Y está muy en forma para hacer el Camino.

FILOU

LUCA

Luca también es perro de Andrea, el viene de una protectora de Cabo de Palos. Al igual que Filou ya ha hecho los 7 semanas del Camino 2009. Luca es un perro muy sociable y le gusta jugar al anfitrión de los demás.

LILLY

Lilly es un cruce Podenco con pastor Alemán, es joven y guapa y muy cariñosa, inteligente y un poco testaruda, pero a pesar de eso es increíblemente obediente y no tiene nada de instinto depredadora, será por esto que la han abandonado!

GRILLO

Grillo es el sabio entre los perros peregrinos, lleva miles de kilómetros de peregrinaje con Narciso y Moreno, últimamente más bien montado en Moreno, porque Grillo ya es un abuelete, pero los tres son inseparables y mientras viva, no se aparatará de Narciso.

RONJA

Ronja is about 5 years old and is living since 4 years with Birgit. Before she spent some month in the shelter of TripleA in Marbella. She is a very loving and gentle dog and gets along with all other dogs. Her great passion: to eat as much as she can. People who have got some goodies in their pocket are her favorites.

NOA

Noa is a sweet and affectionate doggie, especially with children. She is always looking for a cuddle, inviting us with a touch of her nose or her pawn. She is a great dog and we don’t understand how after nine years she has been abandoned for the second time. She is a very special dog, and although we don’t like the fact that she came to us because of being abandoned, we are very satisfied with her coming in to our lives. She likes to get in the car and go on a trip together with her sister Morgana. She not only is teaching us a lesson, she is also teaching her sister some things, especially to behave like a bitch, since unfortunately her sister belonged to hunters and could neither play, nor enjoy certain things, and thanks to Noa, she is rehabilitated. It’s very sad that many people cannot appreciate an older dog, they can teach us a lot and give so much love, one great example for this is our sweet Noa.
