To be a Volunteer

One of the most common and spread interpretations of the word “ volunteer” is that a volunteer is a person who offers to realize a task without being forced to it. This affirmation, although correct, turns out to be the slightly out of date one for the times and for the conjuncture through that we live.
Considering how little animal protection laws are really applied and the fact that animal mistreat is still happening all the time, today more that never, all of us, the human beings, are "forced" to realize a task to the advantage of the animals, and commit ourselves to  guarantee that their rights are fulfilled.
To be volunteers today means that, to be conscious of the current situation that the animals suffer and to act in congruity with it, not because we want to but because we feel that we have to.
